"Remember Me" is a sculpture that represents the desire of young people in their twenties to be remembered and recognized by the world. The work captures the fear of living a meaningless life and being merely a fleeting passage on this earth. It depicts a young person whispering "remember me" into the ear of an elderly man because it is the young who harbor this fear. It's paradoxical: one would expect it to be an older person, looking back on their life, realizing it wasn't worthwhile and asking a young person to remember them. Instead, it's the opposite: those with years ahead already feel behind and fear they will never do enough.
